an Open Door to Families in Transition

Compassion House is a non-profit organization which offers transitional housing and other aid to families in need.  We have been providing essential support to families in our community since 1998.  The assistance includes life skills training, establishing links with other ministries and social service agencies, providing for transportation needs, and financial counseling.  Our goal is to share God's love with each family while working with them to break the cycle of dependency on public assistance or to avoid the need for such assistance. 

We are getting close to breaking ground on our new duplex project! Thanks to John Day and the Master Builders Care Foundation for their commitment to making this project a reality.
